For my Literacy Narrative, I am writing about something that i think we can all agree on. Its about last year when we read To Kill A Mockingbird. We literally read that book at a speed of one page per hour...reading a book that slowly made me completely despise the book in every way.
The first night I thought it was great! That is because I read it at my own pace, then whenever I said to stop and wait to continue to read until the next night...that's what killed me. I hated having to stop from chapter to chapter because because I would always forget what happened in that chapter whenever we had to pick up when we left off in the book.
My story will include different examples of how reading at different paces affects how much I enjoy the book, and how I have learned to deal with having to read slowly.

I totally agree with you. At first I hated it, but after I was done, that's when I realized the real greatness in the book.
ReplyDeleteYeah I agree with both of y'all in that I hated the book at first. After I got used to the speed we were going at I learned to enjoy it more
ReplyDeleteAnd what's with the #lilycatontheprowl?
